Sometimes, actors portray characters that remain vivid in the minds of the masses for a long time; but the ones, who actually played the roles often don’t realize the depth of their characters.

Something similar happened with Malcolm McDowell, when he portrayed a prominent character in a film titled ‘A Clockwork Orange’; the enlightenment about the powerful role came many years later.

Recently the actor stated that he missed some crucial points of the film, and noticed the same only when he attended a screening 10 years ago.

The film was made in 1971, but it took Malcolm many years to realize the power it carried.

In his statement, The Mentalist actor reflected that the work of Stanley Kubrick (director) spoke for itself, and when he caught the hidden glory of the film, he was left awestruck.

This film didn’t see the dim lights of a theatre in U.K. because of the gory content it carried.

Though the theme revolving around rape, murder, and torture would not give you goose bumps in the present world, it did sent shivers in people’s hearts back then.

The actor also stated that shivers ran in his body while filming some of the scenes in the film. And when he was asked to do a shot which left him with bruises once again, he was frightened!

Now, I am sure that by now you must have got the idea of the scene we are talking about.

Well Malcolm, it was great of you to finally get enlightened, but to tell you the truth, I am a man with a tender heart.

I can’t watch gruesome acts. So I would stick to going through The Mentalist online, because that way, I would witness your wonderful performance without puking and ruining my couch. (I can’t stand the sight of blood.)

(I am sure you would not mind.)

Well, you might be shocked after reading the title, but the twin brother theory looked quite convincing to me when I came across someone who looked very similar to Simon.

Well, I didn’t come across him in person, but I saw some of his pictures and he looked very similar to Simon.

The person I am talking about is Nicholas Bishop and he is from the field of acting, too.

He was born in England, but he made his name as an Australian actor.

(Simon, too, is Australian!)

When I searched more on the actor, I found out that I am not the only one who had mistaken him as a brother of Simon or Simon himself.

Nicholas himself reflected that people approach him thinking he is Simon and ask for his autograph!

Now, that should hurt!

I mean someone approaching an actor thinking he is some other person is somewhat weird, and hurts.

But Nicholas remains composed when met with such situations and politely confirms his real identity.

However, the situation has changed to some extent after he appeared in a US television series recently; people have started making a difference between the two.

Now, people still approach Nicholas, but do not mistake him for Simon.

The actor must be thanking god that the confusion has ended.

But, at the same time, I must say that he shares many physical features with Simon and I think this could help Nicholas to get a role on The Mentalist.

What do you say folks?

Would it not be interesting to see two Simon’s in action?

I am sure it will be!

Word of caution: when you download wallpapers of The Mentalist actor, be very careful, as it is highly possible you would end up with Nicholas Bishop!

We all know that big money take rounds in the corridors of entertainment but the money, most of the time, just rotates and, at the end of the day, only a handful of people laugh their way to the bank.

At present, it is the cast of The Mentalist that is laughing their way to the bank!

You must be familiar about the money Simon Baker made after renegotiating his contract last year.

Well, he ended up making $350,000 per episode and it was time for others now to have a taste of the moolah!

Robin Tunney, Amanda Righetti, Tim Kang and Owain Yeoman are the ones who would be seen making a lot more money as they have signed the papers for adding another year to their six- year stint with the television series!

Robin has made the biggest sweep by getting the hike of $25000 in her $75,000 per episode charges. She would end up with $200,000 per episode when her contact elapses if we consider the annual salary hikes!

I know what must be going on in your mind. You must be thinking why you didn’t try your luck in acting before becoming a reel doctor, banker or salesperson.

But you know, there is nothing we can do now.

The other three, who were previously providing their services at around $40,000-$50,000 per episode, would be taking home around $70,000-$80,000 an episode. The yearly hikes would be applied in their case, too, and they may end up with $150,000 per episode when the show reaches its season 7.

Well, there are plenty of seasons to come before that happens but it will happen eventually as people would keep on giving a watch to Mentalist (although, by that time, most of the viewing would have shifted online).

Man, why did I step into this writing career!

My mom always said I have a striking resemblance to Brad Pitt.

I think it’s time to make a career shift.

The world of glitterati sees a large inflow of people, from all over the world. All of them arrive, sniffing name and fame, but, sadly, only few make it to the big league and attain immortality.

And Malcolm McDowell surely falls amongst those few.

Malcolm McDowell has graced the stage of cinema for decades and has been able to stand apart from the rest of the crowd. He is one of the personalities, who made it big, both on the small screen as well as the big screen, by virtue of his perseverance and hard work.

The fine actor would soon be honored by Colby College at the Maine International Film Festival.

Malcolm portrayed the character of Brett Stiles in the television series, The Mentalist.

Though his character didn’t grace the screen regularly, his presence was felt by the audience, simply because of his remarkable acting skills.

He has completed a century with his movies, and the television series that he has been a part of, too, are innumerable.

People would surely give a standing ovation, when Malcolm takes the stage at the Maine International Film Festival.

Recently, he reflected, that throughout his career, he has worked with men who have distinguished themselves with their work and he is glad to have worked with them all.

He further added that destiny has been kind to him in every way.

Well Malcolm, I would not contribute your stardom to destiny, because we all know that you have worked hard and deserve every bit of the fame and respect that is making its way to you today.

You’re far too kind Mr. McDowell.

As I am not familiar with much of his movie works, I still watch The Mentalist through the online methods, because I just love watching him do what he does best – act!

God bless you, Mr. McDowell!

Just what do you do, when you find yourself face to face with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and actually have a conversation with them? Since none of us is likely to ever get that lucky, we might as well talk to someone who got the chance and hear it from him about how terrific it was.

The guy we’re talking about here is Owain Yeoman, who’s famous for his role as Agent Wayne Rigsby on The Mentalist. Owain was one among the honorees at the BAFTA ‘Brits to Watch’ event, which was graced by the presence of the future King and Queen of England, as well as several other celebrities.

Recalling his encounter with Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, Owain says that it was funny to see how Hollywood celebrities seemed insignificant in front of the royals. He laughs at how the photographers rushed stars like Tom Hanks and Jennifer Lopez off the red carpet so that they could capture shots of the gleaming princess.

He goes on to say that one of the coolest moments of his life was chatting with Prince William about motorbikes and cars. He then adds a dash of humor, as he reveals that he secretly wished the prince would say that the Queen watches The Mentalist in Buckingham Palace. LOL!

As for his talks with Kate, Owain says that she seemed very interested in American film production and asked him about the challenges that he faces as an actor. The best part was that she actually knew about his show, which was a huge honor not just for Owain, but for the entire cast of the show!

While that’s it about the tête-à-tête between Agent Wayne and the royals, you can watch the actor in the latest season of The Mentalist online. That should keep you entertained till the brand new season goes on air!

That needs some explanation, I know!

After the completion of Mentalist’s third season, the hit TV show that has put Simon Baker in the midst of spotlight, and one that helped him somewhere in bagging the $30 million deal in US.

Meanwhile, Simon is enjoying his time in ways that you may not be aware of!

He is a true rugby fan, and a Lennox Head’s one at that! He recently, and quite furtively, visited Lennox Head to watch their match against Casino. The Mentalist seasonal interval has certainly left him with some time to spend, which he can bring to best use. A viewer can go online to check out his performance on the police procedural drama.

The officials of Lennox Head club were in for a surprise when they came to know about his arrival. Wherever Simon goes, he doesn’t bring followers – he generates them! It’s the quintessential Simon Baker!

When some of the officials, and a few jumping heads, did notice him in the crowd, there was a genuine surprise sweeping all over the place. Louise Owen – President of the Lennox Head Chamber of Commerce – did later on come to visit him, and mostly had praise in store for him.

She mentioned his good looks, his being such a fine actor, and mostly about how the actor loves the place, and still is a part of Lennox Head even after having moved out to the States.

Well, nothing in the list surprises me; I would have had the same sort of laudatory comments for the star; only that I wouldn’t have stopped at just that. When you find yourself at a loss for words, try repeating the same thing over and over again!

There is going to be a brand new season four of the Mentalist show! Simon Baker will reappear as Patrick Jane, the homicide investigator and Bruno Heller, the creator of the show will try to pick up new story arcs. But the question is: what after Red John?

Red John, the sole reason for Patrick to join and stay with the CBI, is now dead!

The story arc involving the brutal murderer that formed the dark background of the show for three seasons is now over. Which makes me (and others) ask: what now? We will, of course, continue to download the episodes of The Mentalist, but what would Patrick be doing now?

This isn’t a question too difficult to answer; what’s difficult is whether we can let the answers sink in. If the person Patrick killed in season three finale is indeed the right Red John, we have nothing else to expect, but to see a new adversary coming up, and Patrick continuing his stint with CBI.

But let’s just suppose that the so-called Red John was just another copycat! Creators of The Mentalist would venture into such an area, because it would put a strange spin to the happenings of the third season.

I can’t say for sure if we have seen the death of Red John, but I’d so much like a new story angle to develop, rather than see the creators resort to tired ways of bringing alive the antagonist. I am talking about the kind where they show the criminal getting shot, but it turns out that he was wearing a bullet-proof jacket underneath his shirt after all!

The nine lives of Professor Moriarty!

But what is light without the darkness, yin without yang, the arch hero without his arch nemesis? Well, we’ll see!

Simon Baker has a wonderful life, a wonderful career, and an even wonderful wife.

And we wouldn’t have known that the person behind Simon’s success is his wife of thirteen years, if he hasn’t so much shed his image of ‘not a media guy’.

In a recent interview, Simon Baker, the star from The Mentalist TV show talked about his relationship.

Lemme remind you that this is something that he has not done often, in the past.

He said that whatever he is today, the credit for that goes to his wife of 13 years. Had it not been for her, he wouldn’t be here today.

Awwww! That is so sweet!

Well, that must have left his wife Rebecca Rigg blushing.

She herself is a star and would know how to conceal her emotions, but when a woman’s husband talks in this way, she can’t help coyly withdrawing herself, can she?

But it isn’t just the love for his wife that the actor talked about.

He also mentioned that he has been lucky at being a good father. All his three kids have been able to keep their roots intact.

Did you know that Baker’s family comes from Australia?

The Mentalist has established him as a prominent star in the world of showbiz. The actor is currently said to be making more than $30 million!

He is definitely having a good time and we hope for him to continue the run of success.

Playing the role of a psychic, who helps the police investigative team, Simon has developed himself completely, not only as an actor, but also as a family guy.

And if there was any doubt, as per his media-facing image, he broke that too, by talking at length about his family and his roots.

You just cannot afford to miss the next few episodes of The Mentalist.

The crime drama TV series, created by Bruno Heller will bring William Forsythe in one of the upcoming episodes of the hit TV show!

It’s great news!

If William Forsythe joins the crew of The Mentalist, it is sure to work out exceptionally well.

And, I am not the only one to believe this. Bruno Heller also believes that William is a perfect choice to play the character he has been asked to.

A little birdie told me that William Forsythe will play the role of Steve Rigsby, father to Special Agent, Wayne Rigsby.
Steve would play a not-so-ideal father, as Wayne’s childhood was mostly spent in his absence or seeing him in a drunken state.

Steve would play a professional con and would go livid, terming his son’s decision of joining the Police, a disloyalty towards his family. And, it’s this part that brings him into picture.

In order to find a killer, Wayne will ask his father Steve for help! Interesting, isn’t it!

Though I won’t tell you if Steve will help his son or not, one thing is for sure: creators of The Mentalist know how to deliver hit episodes.

That’s what they have been doing from long. The episode that will see William Forsythe, is slated to be on-air in May.

William is hailed as one of the most notorious villains of Hollywood. His appearance would be something to watch out for.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed for this one!

All those, who are regular followers of The Mentalist would definitely be aware of Kimball Cho’s character, played by Tim Kang. In the show, he plays a very intense role, a character that rarely smiles and remains serious for most of the time. But in reality, he is completely opposite to what he portrays in the show.

In a small interview, the private agent revealed that he is an adventurous guy, who has great interest in death defying hobbies.

You’ll be amused to know that whenever Kimball gets time from his shoot, he manages to get involved in the activities that are highly risky. He recently turned thirty-seven and it seems, he is making the most out of his youthful energy which he has been utilizing in the sports activity.

Moreover, when he was five-years-old, he started skiing and got involved in Scuba diving in the year 1996. For the first time, he tried doing skydiving.

He learnt to ride dirty bike when he was in high-school. It was during these days only, when he had first tasted the thrill involved in the snowboarding.

All the aforementioned revelations prove that he is such a sports addict.

Undoubtedly, all such activities involve a lot of risk but, Tim is extra careful before trying out any sport which involves danger to one’s life. He does a lot of study on the internet about the risks involved in the sport. He makes sure that he does enough of research to escape all sorts of accidents that can and have taken place.

Well! That’s a smart move which covers the risk factor. Besides enjoying these activities, Jim is sure that he will remain an actor through out his life.
